Law firm experience is preferred but not mandatory. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, eager to learn and adapt, motivated to contribute to a great team but also confident to take on challenges independently. Law firms can be stressful with very tight deadlines so someone who works well under pressure is essential.
 
Firm History
The firm, as it presently exists, was established on September 1, 2019. Our Partners were both called circa 1979 and have both operated their own practices for many years in advance of merging forces. 

  • Kevin Weeks is our Managing Partner and has established himself in the legal and entrepreneurial spheres for his versatility and knowledge, specifically in the areas of corporate/commercial, entertainment, and real estate law.
  • John Fletcher makes up the other half of our partnership and, as a former Colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces, he brings a unique approach to law, mentorship and collaborative leadership. John’s practice presently focuses on estate litigation, wills/estate administration and Alberta/BC real estate.

We know salary and compensation is always an important factor in evaluating any potential employment change and, although we appreciate that, we intentionally do not include salary ranges in initial discussions with candidates for two reasons: (i) our priority is ensuring that candidates are a good fit for our team and our clients and (ii) salary and compensation structures are negotiable, but values are not.
